The older I get
the more I feel the importance of silence.
The more I've lived
the more I know talking doesn't get you anywhere.
I'm gonna be one of those old ladies
who have a friendly smile on their lips
and just nod
while they listen to stories people tell about
love and hatred
luck and pain
hope and despair.
Knowing the end of each story
those old ladies just nod
and smile friendly
while keeping quiet.
I'm gonna be one of them.
Smiling friendly
listening to stories
life repeats
with each one of us.
