And then they stood up
and walked
to the gates
and said: We want to be free.
And the gates opened
without a gun shot
without any blood shed.
Just like that
they were free.
And then the world changed
and people with it.
Now they breathe freedom.
After years of darkness
light has come over this land
enlightened its people
who still remember the taste of darkness.
Still remember.
