There we go:
white westerns willing to give up comfort
to help others.
To make them feel better
to take care of those who need it the most.
And we travel to Africa and Asia,
our heart filled with warm illusions
of hope and charity.
Feeling good about how good we are helping others to feel good!
Filling our white western hole that’s taking over our sole.
We learnt new shoes won’t make a difference
so we chose little black children.
They will make us feel good and important.
And we will change our lives and their lives and the whole world.
We travel with medicine and toys and clothes and food packages,
far away they are expecting us, sick and cold and hungry.
Will they ask for our motives?
