Owls

There are birds

and there are owls.

The latter wait for the world to sleep

to hunt in absolute silence

seeing where nobody sees.

These treacherous superior beings

kill you merciless

and take you away

grabbing you tight

with their claws

sticking in your flesh.

Nobody ever finds 

any trace of you.
