Nature is cruel!
We fool ourselves
travelling
studying
working
dyeing our hair
using botox
getting bigger tits...
and in the end what counts
is reproduction.
Simple, primitive reproduction
of our doomed species.
But ovaries have a deadline
and what if
you haven’t found
the right sperm supplier yet?
What if
your ovary stops producing
and you haven’t done your duty yet?
What if
all the others around you
get sweet little babies
and you don’t?

Well, then,
naturally,
sadly,
certainly
YOU ARE
a
total failure.
It seems that, in this post, one faces more of a woman's psychological fear than a biological problem.
ReplyDeleteFor there is no reason to worry 'bout one's incapacity to have a baby when there is not enough food - or, what's worst, our nobel prize econonomists don't know yet how to distribute it - to feed the babies already borned.
Reprodution is no longer a biological concept - it's a social one.
We're indeed a doomed species. But that's only beacause we make children starve to death.
